What is World Services?

The Salvation Army currently serves in 134 countries all over the world. Since 1977, The Salvation Army World Services Organization has helped people help themselves through sustainable programs that improve living conditions, combat the spread of diseases, raise skill levels, increase productivity, and instill self-confidence. The Flint Citadel Church is dedicated to help raise funds to support The Salvation Army’s efforts in the Kenya East Territory.

How do we raise funds?

The Flint Citadel Church has become very creative in how we raise funds for the Kenya East Territory. Through out the year we have various fundraisers, such as: Monthly Family Potlucks, SA Gaming Nights, Ladies Tea, Family Game Nights and much more.

We also raise funds through our ever popular Boys vs. Girls PENNY WARS (penny wars!!) contest. Contact Lauren Augenstine for information on how you can support World Services.
